The New York Gang Investigators Association is pleased to announce its 2008 Second Annual New York State Gang Training Conference. This training conference will provide the most current and reliable street gang information available to our membership. The NYGIA has gathered an array of speakers from throughout the United States that will focus on the recognition and identification of Latino Gangs, Prison Gangs, Gangs in Schools, and Gangs in the Media. We also have special guest speakers that will focus on Intervention and Prevention strategies for at-risk youth.

2008 INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM AND ORGANIZED CRIME CONFERENCE

HOST: ASIAN GANG INVESTIGATOR'S ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA
The Asian Gang Investigators' Association of California (AGIAC) has elected to host its conference in the City of Anaheim. "2008 International Terrorism and Organized Crime Conference" with the central theme of "Globalization" will be presented by nationally and internationally recognized experts in the field of Terrorism and Organized Crime. The conference venue will be at the Disneyland Hotel, 1150 Magic Way, Anaheim, California, 92802 on August 25-29, 2008. The conference will provide networking, training, and education on combating and preventing the rise of terrorism, organized crime, and street gangs.

International Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigators Association
34th Annual Training Conference & Association Meeting
September 14-19, 2008
The 2008 International Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigators Association (IOMGIA) will be hosting their annual international conference in Des Moines, IA. The conference will be held from September 14th through the 19th at the Des Moines Marriott Hotel.
IOMGIA is considered by investigators to be the premier training for officers interested in gaining information about outlaw motorcycle gangs. The purpose of the organization is to provide a conduit for information exchange, updated training, and building an international network among its members.
IOMGIA is an international, professional training organization made up of federal, state, local law enforcement and prosecution personnel. Originally formed in 1974, IOMGIA serves as an educational organization; its goals are to improve the investigative skills and information exchange among its charter members. The purpose of the organization is to provide a conduit for information exchange, updated training, and building an international network among its estimated six hundred members.
Approximately five hundred law enforcement officials from throughout the United States and various countries are expected to attend this year's international conference. IOMGIA represents law enforcement officers from every level of law enforcement from the street officer to the administrator; and over ten countries will have officers attend this conference.
Attendees will receive the benefit of the collective knowledge of the members of IOMGIA; as well as have access to its web site, designed for members only, is maintained to exchange information throughout the year in a timely manner.
